Take a closer look and spend some meditative time reassembling Raghvi Bhatia’s “Divination Drawings #1” (2022). In this print series, Raghvi maps and traces the fractures of a panel of broken glass. Read every word drawn along the cracks in the glass to learn more about her exploration of religion and the tenets of her artistic practice.
“In these prints, there’s an obsessiveness in tracking the breakage and seeking knowledge of the unknown by reading the cracks,” Raghvi Bhatia explains. “There is a preservation of time — holding space and elongating it — even if this very process leads to further fragmentation.”
